Process & Appointments

What is the process for receiving prosthetic care?
  1. Initial Consultation:  Meet with us in person or via telehealth to discuss your needs and goals. We’ll also help determine your insurance coverage.
  2. Digital Scanning or Molding: After processing insurance information, we’ll schedule an appointment to create a digital mold of your anatomy.
  3. Device Creation Process: Test versions of your prosthetic will be designed and manufactured for fittings. Depending on your needs, this may require up to three appointments.
  4. Follow-Up and Delivery:  Once finalized, your prosthetic will be delivered. We’ll guide you through care and maintenance during this appointment.
How long does the entire process take?

The process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of your device, your specific needs, and scheduling availability.

I have a special event coming up. Can you accommodate time-sensitive requests?

While we aim to meet your needs promptly, the iterative design process makes expedited requests challenging. Please plan ahead when coordinating with special events.
